Who we are

A family-owned practice, full of familiar faces

When you visit Good Life Dental, you're not a chart number — you're a neighbor. Get to know the team who'll be looking after your smile in North Platte.

2015

The year Good Life Dental began.

Dr. Kate Wolford started her dental career in North Platte at the West Central District Health Department, and eventually made the decision that she wanted to move into private practice.

She purchased the practice from retiring Dr. Mike Furmanski — who had been practicing dentistry since 1972 — and established Good Life Dental, PC on July 1, 2015. Members of that original team are still here today, which means decades of familiarity and trust walk through our doors every morning.

Meet the team

The people behind your smile

Decades of combined experience — and a genuine love for this community.

Dr. Kate Wolford

Dentist & Owner

Dr. Kate grew up in McCook and attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, earning a bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science. She graduated from the UNMC College of Dentistry in 2013 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

She began her dental career in North Platte at the West Central District Health Department, then made the decision to move into private practice — purchasing the practice from retiring Dr. Mike Furmanski and establishing Good Life Dental, PC on July 1, 2015.

She thoroughly enjoys getting to know her patients and working to help them create their ideal smile. Outside the office she's busy with her three children — Noah, Julia, and Wyatt — along with horses, dogs, cats, and fish, and loves reading, cross-stitching, and shopping with her mom.

Kaylen Wolfenden

Dental Assistant

Kaylen has worked in the dental field for over 40 years, giving her a front-row seat to the ongoing advancements of dentistry.

She grew up on a ranch near Mullen, NE, and has a particular passion for working with children and anxious patients to make each dental visit a positive experience.

She has three daughters and three grandchildren, and enjoys camping and gardening.

Dana Scott

Office Manager

Dana started in the dental field in North Platte with orthodontist Dr. Bradley Hoppens, then worked with Dr. Mike Furmanski for fifteen years before joining Good Life Dental in 2015.

Born in North Platte and raised in Hershey, NE, she previously owned Dana's Hair Design salon for many years.

She and her fiancé Ray live just outside the city limits in 'the country,' where they keep cows, chickens, and dogs. Between them they have a big, happy blended family.

Andrea Hasenauer

Dental Assistant / Front Office

Andrea graduated from the dental assisting program at Mid Plains Community College in 2002 and joined Good Life Dental in 2018.

She's our expert floater and catch-all team member — moving between the front office, clinical assisting, and instrument sterilization to keep everything running smoothly.

Born and raised in Wheatland, WY, she has two children, Jeremy and Hope, and enjoys traveling, gardening, bird watching, and mountain biking.

Rebecca Albrecht

Registered Dental Hygienist

Becky is a North Platte native who began working in dentistry in 1995 after completing the Dental Assisting program at Mid Plains Community College. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from the Community College of Denver in 2008.

“The best reward as a dental hygienist is to build relationships with our patients and to continue to be a part of their dental health.”

She enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
